A clip-on wheel weight is a steel balancing weight with a spring clip that is mechanically fastened to the rim flange by clipping/hammering into place. Unlike adhesive weights, it does not require tape or glue. Wheel weights are used for wheel balancing, compensating imbalance in the wheel–tyre assembly. Proper balancing: reduces steering wheel/body vibrations, improves driving comfort, helps prevent uneven tyre wear, reduces stress on suspension components. This model is intended for steel rims.
